I was a born athlete and everybody knew my name My childhood seemed good. I attended good schools and lived in a safe suburban neighborhood. My teenage years consumed me with depression, ADHD, anxiety and an eating disorder. At that point I started to self-medicate myself with drugs and alcohol at nearby parties. Of course, My parents became aware and enrolled me in your programs. Things are looking up and I appear to be healthy again. Addiction is a kronic, relapsing and remitting disease. Maintaining it is not easy even after going through detox and rehabilitation. The relapse rate is 40-60 %. It is important to remember that set-backs do not indicate failure. It just means that your course of action should be adjusted. Don't give up. I myself have relapsed three times. It happens. We are all different and unique. I am still maintaining my sobriety with the guidance of my girl Jeanny. She is opening my eyes to a clearer future. Much love for your organization!!!!
