I’m about to enter inpatient rehab. I’m nervous about what to expect. Has anyone been through before? Can you tell me what to expect?

Inpatient rehab is very structured. You will have a strict schedule that occupies your day so there will be little down time to focus on craving or bad behavior.

In order to minimize stress and uncertainty for the residents, there are daily activities that will take place thought the day in the safest most supportive environment for healing and recovery.

From the daily meditation to healthy scheduled meals. Your day will be planned out for you including working your way through the 12 step program and daily interactions with a councilor and group therapy sections.

When I was in inpatient everything was planned ahead of time, and I would get a daily schedule at breakfast of activities offered thought the day. My morning yoga was the only way I could start such an early day.
