My best friend has been avoiding me for a few days, i’m sure she is going through methadone withdrawal. I need to help her. How can I treat her methadone withdrawals?

I have known someone gong though the same withdrawal who got a prescription called subsoxone I think that really helped with his withdrawal.

You need to get your friend to a doctor or into a treatment center, to help her. Going at it alone gives her little chance of sobriety.

You are a good person for wanted so much to help your friend and that in itself is the first step. You being there for her in her time of need is very helpful. Next if for some reason she can’t seek a treatment center, make sure she stays in a comfortable place and drinks as much water as possible to help flush the toxins out of her body quickly.

There are over the counter meds like ibuprofin, or pepto that you could get her to help with her symptoms but nothing is as effective as good ol dr care.
