Why can’t my sister stop using Heroin? She has so much to offer life and she’s throwing it all away.

She can’t stop because she simply doesn’t want to. She may say she wants help but if she doesn’t take action, she’s just going to keep using.

Your sister has a disease and she is not herself. She probably wants to stop but can’t because she isn’t willing to feel her emotions and do what it takes to stay clean. Good luck to her.

First, I am sorry you’re sister is going down this road but you need to know, there is nothing you can do to stop her. Addiction is a disease. There is no answer to why she can’t stop. Your mind works in different ways when you’re on drugs. Let her know you’re there for her.

There are a lot of reasons as why she “can’t” stop but the main reason is, she isn’t ready too. She is not ready to do the work. You have to want sob as much as you wanted the drug!
