If you’re looking for a quick detox to be completely off all drugs I’d use Suboxone. Methadone treatment is longer and you can be using it for years at a time.

If you’re looking for long term medically assisted treatment, go with Methadone.

Suboxone is usually just prescribed by a doctor for a week or two. With Methadone, you’ll have to go to a clinic to get your dose if you’re using it for an opiate dependency.

Methadone is long treatment and Suboxone is usually only used for a week. I say Suboxone because you will be completely drug free and not dependent on any drug.
