There is no relationship like that between a parent and its child. We parents think we have most power and influence over our children but it's a whole different ballgame when it comes to addictions. We have no control and it's exhausting. Parents out there, if your child is in need of help due to a drug or alcohol addiction, both of you are in need of assistance. We parents think we can resolve the problems, but we simply are unable to beat this monster alone. I thank God for institutions as this. Here at Ouachita Medical Center my whole family was put back together. I believe my son is alive today due to your professional staff. You provided the helping hands to heal my severely damaged family. Thanks, mom of an addict.
